REDFEATHER LAKES

All the nearby rivers are still swollen from all the flooding last week, so in order to make a relatively short fishing trip the only real option right now is Redfeather lakes. The fishing turned out to be really great, caught about 15 cutbows all in the 14-18 inch range.  They were crushing caddis any size any color. Guess I'll be heading back up there soon.

FLAT LAND BROWNS

We normally head up the canyon to catch fish, but with high flows starting already, we decided to go east instead of west. Surprisingly, we ran into more than a few good sized trout on the plains. All the fish caught were browns from 12'' to over 20''. The fish were taking flies in deep holes. I did the best with a size 16 tungsten black zebra midge, Good Times.

My Brother got the catch of the day this time.
