I got a new rod last weekend and was busy up until Friday, so I was pretty excited to try it out. Fished the Poudre in town again as usual and caught a few little rainbows.
I did good yesterday, so I figured I could do better today because it was a lot less windy. Ended up getting a lot more fish including this pretty brown.
That wind was brutal on Thursday, I'm surprised you we are able to throw any productive casts. That new rod certainly must hold its own, or you are one fine fly caster! -stephanie
